AJ was baptized on 3/16/1993 in the campus ministry and I was baptized 7/21/1996 in the singles ministry. AJ and I met in the Brookhaven ministry, through his sister Staci.  God was allowing us to get to know each other better when we taught together at mid-week.

In December of 98, he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was so funny because I started to laugh, so much so that he asked me if I was saying yes or no.  

16 day's after we started dating, AJ and I said that we were going to be apart of the Chattanooga Mission Team. I think we would both say that it was the best and worst time of our lives.

God showed us what it meant to have humility, brotherly and sisterly love, and his grace and mercy.  We both were blessed with amazing life friends that kept us in check then and now. 

June of 2000 he asked me to marry him, I new that I was marring my best friend. The man that I had prayed for and 6 months later on November 18, we got married.  After about a year of marriage we decided to move back to Atlanta and to start our family and to be closer to our families. On March 18, 2003 we said hello to Mitchell for the first time. We have been married for 7 years, and Mitchell will be 5 in March.
